Whose Pulled Pork was the Best?
Congratulations to Mike Harner of Harner BBQ
for their 1st Place win!
Mike participated in the 2022 Dueling Pigs BBQ Challenge and finished 3rd in a very close decision. This year he came out on top in the opinion of both the people and the Honorary Judges!
2nd Place
For their first competition, Full O’ Pit BBQ stacked up pretty well! These brothers-in-law from Virginia Beach certainly impressed the crowd with their pulled pork. So much so that people lined up to buy BBQ off their menu. Good job guys!!!
3rd Place
Smoke was indeed showin’ all the way from King George! Kyle, a Marine and a firefighter, had his fires under control. Coming in on Friday night to light it up, the result of 14 hours of smoked marinated pork butt was enough for a strong finish.
Planning has already begun for Dueling Pigs BBQ Challenge 2024 when we will again bring together the little known and the unknown pitmasters of the region to see who measures up.
